ANNOUNCEMENTS:
This Sunday, October 31st, there will be two services at 9:00 and 10:30am.
We will celebrate communion during both worship services.
There will be coffee and light refreshments between the two services.
The service will be live streamed on FaceBook and on the church website nlf-online.church during the 9:00 am service. It will be accessible on both Face Book and the New Life website if you prefer to watch the service at a later time.
Life:Start Luncheon:
This Sunday we are having a welcome lunch following the 10:30am service. If you are newer to the New Life church family or would like to know more about the ministries of NLF, we invite you to come to this time of food and fellowship as the staff shares different ways to get involved and connected at New Life.
NLF Family Work Day:
Saturday, November 13th will be a work day (from 8:00-11:00am) at NLF. All men and women and families are invited to meet at the church and then go into the community to help do fall/winter lawn care and clean up for several families and elderly individuals in the NLF church family. It’s Time to Pray!
NLF needs direction on how our church family can be faithfully connected to one another. Everyone is invited to join us for a corporate time of prayer on Wednesday November 3, 10, & 17, from 6:15-7:15pm in the sanctuary. Let’s truly make God’s house a house of prayer (Isaiah 56:7). Let’s seek God’s leadership. Let’s give the Holy Spirit space to guide us in our next steps. You don’t have to be a “professional pray-er” to come. All our welcome and encouraged to come!
Celebration Lunch:
In response to our 3 weeks of prayer, on Sunday November 21st we will have an all-church lunch to celebrate God’s faithfulness to New Life! Leadership from Nappanee Missionary Church will join us during both worship services to celebrate God’s answers to prayer in establishing New Life Fellowship Church and our opportunity to be debt free! The Celebration Lunch will follow the second worship service.
Adopt-a-Family Christmas Project:
The New Life Missions team is partnering with Westview Schools again this year to sponsor families in need at Christmas time. If you, your family, your small group, or any group of friends are interested in sponsoring a family this year, please text Michelle Sharick.
Operation Christmas Child:
Don’t forget to bring your Operation Christmas Child boxes back to the church by Sunday November 14th. Please include $9.00 shipping in an envelope inside your box (cash or check made out to Samaritan’s Purse). You may also track your box by scanning the QR code on the label. If you have questions about this project, please contact Cathy Frey.
Volunteer Appreciation Open House:
On Wednesday, November 17th, from 3:30-6:30pm, the NLF staff will be hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Open House in the New Life Cafe. If you have volunteered in any capacity at New Life during this past year, we invite you to come and enjoy a time of food and fellowship in your honor! NLF could not function without our many volunteers! Please come so we can honor you and express our appreciation for your service!
Prayer Warriors Needed:
Youth ministries needs a few more prayer warriors! If you have not been contacted and would love to pray for one or two of our teens, please call or text Jodi Wisler at 260-336-2196. Jodi will give you a name and all you need to do is pray for that teen by name once a week or as often as you can. You will be informed now and then of what they need prayer for. We have a total if 120 teens right now that are involved in our Wednesday night youth ministry. We need 5 more warriors to cover each of them in prayer. Thank you so much for lifting up our teens to our God Almighty.
Parenting in a Digital Age:
If you were unable to attend the “Parenting in the Digital Age”seminar, the seminar was video-recorded and is now available to view.
