OUR BELIEFS

FAQ

The Bible

We believe that the Bible, consisting of sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the Word of God given by divine inspiration and is inerrant in the original manuscripts. The Bible remains the unchanging authority in matters of Christian faith and practice.

God

We believe in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and their ministry in today’s world.

Man

We believe that because of sin, man is separated from God and in need of salvation which comes only through Jesus Christ.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in God. The Scriptures teach that believers may have the blessed assurance of being saved. One can know beyond doubt that his sins are forgiven and he is a child of God. Assurance of salvation does not negate personal responsibility. Upon salvation, the Holy Spirit begins a new work in the heart of all believers, transforming him more and more into the likeness of Jesus.

The Spirit-Filled Life

We believe that the Holy Spirit can fill the heart of each believer, enabling them to live the victorious Christian life. The fruit of the spirit, not the gifts, are the evidence of the fullness of the spirit.

The Return of Christ

We believe in the visible pre-millennial return of Christ.

Baptism

We believe that all believers have been commanded to follow the Lord in water baptism, which is the outward sign of an inward work. We practice only baptism by immersion.
