ANNOUNCEMENTS:
This Sunday there will be two services at 9:00 and 10:30 am.
There will be coffee and light refreshments between the two services.
Pastor Drew Ryall will bring the morning message.
The service will be live streamed on FaceBook and on the church website nlf-online.church during the 9:00 am service. It will be accessible on both Face Book and the New Life website if you prefer to watch the service at a later time.
Trunk or Treat Report:
Our Trunk or Treat Event on Wednesday had an attendance of 330 children and adults, many of which were from our community! There was lots of candy given out, great fellowship, and delicious food served by the Reindeer Trails food truck! A big thank you to all who provided a trunk or helped with this event in any way!
Life:Start Welcome Lunch:
We will be having a welcome lunch this Sunday, October 30th following the 10:30am service. If you are newer to the New Life church family or would like to know more about the ministries of NLF, we invite you to come to this time of food and fellowship as the staff shares different ways to get involved and connected at New Life. Announcing a New 7th & 8th Grade Class:
Beginning this Sunday October 30th, there will be a new Sunday morning class for all 7th and 8th grade students. Students will be dismissed after worship during the 10:30 am service to have their class in the youth room. We are excited to provide this opportunity for students to explore practical applications for day to day living as they interact together and with their leaders. Counseling Services Now Available:
We are excited to announce that beginning November 1st we will have a counselor available on-site at NLF on Wednesday evenings. Shannon Cross is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate who will use our building to provide counseling services by appointment. If interested please contact Shannon Cross. Thank you!
Wednesday Night Body:Life:
Body:Life small groups will resume meeting on Wednesday, November 2nd, from 7:00-8:00 pm. Groups are open if you would like to be a part of Body Life. A light meal is served at 6:15 pm and there are age appropriate activities for all children, preteens, and students. Dine & Canvas:
Come join the women of the church as we gather for the “Dine & Canvas” event on Saturday, November 5th. Arrival time is 9:30 am and the cost is $20 per person. We will be painting an easy Christmas inspired scene as well as enjoying fellowship and friends over lunch. Please sign up at the Women’s Ministry Desk in the foyer.
Preschool Fundraiser:
Little Sprouts Preschool, a ministry of New Life Fellowship, will be having a donut fundraiser on Sunday, November 6th and November 13th here at church between the two worship services. There will be donuts available for a freewill donation. The preschool offers fundraisers each year to help in their goal of being self-sustaining. This is Little Sprouts 14th year preparing little ones for kindergarten, and teaching them of Jesus’ love for them. Thank you for your support of this valuable ministry!
NLF Workday:
Looking for an area to serve? On Saturday, November 19 we are planning on a workday starting at 8 AM through noon. There are multiple items that need addressed including kitchen deep cleaning, sanctuary chair repair, etc. If the weather is decent, we may address a few needed outdoor items as well. See the sign-up sheet in the foyer for additional details. We look forward to seeing you there.
Thanksgiving Meal To-Go for our Community
New Life will be offering a Thanksgiving meal to-go on Monday November 21st between 4:00-6:30 pm. This is a meal we are offering to our community. We want everyone to have all the necessities to make a warm, quick, delicious meal for their family to enjoy. This is a great opportunity to serve our community and we need your help! Soles For Jesus:
Our Preteens are collecting new or gently used shoes for their service project “Soles For Jesus”. There is a box in the foyer for you to drop your donations in! We’re collecting walking sandals and tennis shoes which will be sent to Africa. Would you consider helping us reach our goal of 477 pairs of shoes? We are also collecting donations to help with shipping costs (estimated to be about $1000 for this amount of shoes). If you would like to help with the shipping cost, please place your money in an envelope marked “Soles for Jesus” and drop it in any offering box. Thank you!
College Care Packages:
New life would like to bless our college students with care packages before finals. Please sign your college student up at the Info Desk and provide their address. We would like to have all information collected by the end of October. Thanks!
Round Tables With Jesus:
Everyone is invited to join “Round Tables with Jesus”, a Bible study which meets from 9:30-10:15 am on Sunday mornings in the Meeting Place. Herman Yoder and Mark Sharick are leading this Bible Study on Revelation. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with others and study God’s word together.
