ANNOUNCEMENTS:
This Sunday there will be two services at 9:00 and 10:30 am.
There will be coffee and light refreshments between the two services.

The service will be live streamed on FaceBook and on the church website nlf-online.church during the 9:00 am service. It will be accessible on both Face Book and the New Life website if you prefer to watch the service at a later time.

Trunk or Treat Event:
We will having a Trunk-Or-Treat event on Wednesday, October 26 (6:30-8:00 pm). We are still looking for a few additional trunks. If interested, please sign up at the Info Desk. Also, if you would like to donate candy for this event, there are bins at the Info Desk and in the Kid’s Ministry hallway. Reindeer Trails food truck (Jerry & Ruby Miller) will be available for food purchase. This is a great chance to reach out to our community, so spread the word and bring your friends and neighbors!
Dine & Canvas:
Come join the women of the church as we gather for the “Dine & Canvas” event on Saturday, November 5th. Arrival time is 9:30 am and the cost is $20 per person. We will be painting an easy Christmas inspired scene as well as enjoying fellowship and friends over lunch. Please sign up at the Women’s Ministry Desk in the foyer.
Soles For Jesus:
Our Preteens are collecting new or gently used shoes for their service project “Soles For Jesus”. There is a box in the foyer for you to drop your donations in! We’re collecting walking sandals and tennis shoes which will be sent to Africa. Would you consider helping us reach our goal of 477 pairs of shoes? We are also collecting donations to help with shipping costs (estimated to be about $1000 for this amount of shoes). If you would like to help with the shipping cost, please place your money in an envelope marked “Soles for Jesus” and drop it in any offering box. Thank you!
Announcing a New 7th & 8th Grade Class:
Beginning Sunday October 30th, there will be a new Sunday morning class for all 7th and 8th grade students. Students will be dismissed after worship during the 10:30 am service to have their class in the youth room. We are excited to provide this opportunity for students to explore practical applications for day to day living as they interact together and with their leaders. Preschool Fundraiser:
Little Sprouts Preschool, a ministry of New Life Fellowship, will be having a donut fundraiser on Sunday, November 6th and November 13th here at church between the two worship services. There will be donuts available for a free will donation. The preschool does fundraisers each year to try and be self-sustaining. This is Little Sprouts 14th year preparing little ones for kindergarten and teaching them also of Jesus’ love for them. Thank you for your support of this valuable ministry!
College Care Packages:
New life would like to bless our college students with care packages before finals. Please sign your college student up at the Info Desk and provide their address. We would like to have all information collected by the end of October. Thanks!
Life:Start Welcome Lunch:
We will be having a welcome lunch on Sunday, October 30th following the 10:30am service. If you are newer to the New Life church family or would like to know more about the ministries of NLF, we invite you to come to this time of food and fellowship as the staff shares different ways to get involved and connected at New Life. Compassion Pregnancy Banquet:
We are looking for individuals that are willing to partner with CPC as volunteers for the annual Crisis Pregnancy Center fundraiser banquet happening on Thursday, October 27 at NLF! If you are willing to help with set up or serving, please see Brooke Miller at the info desk after the service on Sunday to see how you can give of your time in this way!
Round Tables With Jesus:
Everyone is invited to join “Round Tables with Jesus”, a Bible study which meets from 9:30-10:15 am on Sunday mornings in the Meeting Place. Herman Yoder and Mark Sharick are leading this Bible Study on Revelation. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with others and study God’s word together. The elder team invites you to celebrate the Pastoral team during the month of October! Operation Christmas Child:
Shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child are available in the foyer. At the table you will find instructions on to how to fill the box, along with mailing labels, and examples of items to include in your box. Boxes should be returned by November 13th to the table in the foyer. If you have questions about this project, please contact Cathy Frey.
Counselor Services Now Available:
We are excited to announce that beginning November 1st we will have a counselor available on-site at NLF on Wednesday evenings. Shannon Corss is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate who will use our building to provide counseling services by appointment.
