ANNOUNCEMENTS:
This Sunday, March 14th:
Don’t forget to “SPRING FORWARD” and set your clocks ahead one hour on Saturday night for Daylight Saving Time!
- This Sunday, March 14th, there will be two services at 9:00 am and 10:30 am.
- Pastor Drew will continue to teach his sermon series, “Lent: the Power of the Gospel”.
- During both services, we will take a moment to highlight our “Little Sprouts” Preschool ministry.
- “Made to Praise” Kid’s Choir will meet from 9-10 AM in the Clubhouse.
- There will be nursery & toddler care and children’s programming for all ages during the second service.
- The service will be live streamed during the 9:00 am service. It will be posted on Face Book if you prefer to watch the service at a later time.
Coffee Talk:
During all Sundays in March, we are having a special time of fellowship between the two worship services. Each Sunday there will be traditional coffee, flavored coffee, and a different type of refreshment served. We encourage you to consider coming early or staying late so that you can enjoy this time of fellowship and feel more connected to your church family as we move forward as “one body with two worship services”.
Ladies Craft Day:
This Saturday, March 13th, there will be a ladies craft day from 9am-2pm at NLF. Bring any portable craft and enjoy a time of fellowship with other ladies from New Life. Please bring your own lunch and a snack to share! For more information, please contact Sally Hart.
Men’s March Madness Event:
On Friday, March 19th all men are invited to a men’s March Madness event from 7pm until whenever the fun ends! This evening will include watching the tournament games, playing games, eating good food, and lots of manly fellowship! Meat will be provided; please bring a side dish to share.

Tulips for Easter:
This will be the last Sunday to sign up for a basket of tulips in honor or memory of a loved one. The cost is $10 each and we will display them in the sanctuary on Palm and Easter Sundays. Visit the Info Desk this Sunday to place your order!
Nursing Home Outreach:
Nursing homes have been deeply affected this past year. Many of the residents have been quarantined with little interaction with others. This past Christmas, New Life donated coloring books and word search books to area nursing homes for the residents. This Easter, we want to reach out again and send some encouragement! The NLF Missions Team will be purchasing small bags, candy and note cards. We would like to include a PERSONALIZED NOTE FROM YOU!! Over the next 3 Sundays (March 14th, 21st, & 28th) we will have note cards at a table that you can pick up on your way into church. Take a few moments to write a short word of encouragement, share scripture, and let them know they are loved and prayed for. On your way out, place the note cards back at the table. If you want to sign several cards, you are welcome to take them home and bring them back the following Sunday. We need to have all of the signed note cards returned to the church by Sunday, March 28th. Our goal is to have around 300-325 Easter bags, along with a personalized note card in each bag. Mystery Island VBS:
We are excited to announce that we will be having Vacation Bible School this summer, June 7-11 from 5:45-8:00pm. Sign ups will begin this Sunday and will be available in the foyer or on-line. VBS is for children ages 4 years through those currently in 3rd grade. Many of the activities will be held outside, weather permitting. We will need many volunteers to make VBS a great success. Easter Egg Hunt:
On Sunday, March 28 (Palm Sunday), Kids’ Country will have an Easter Egg Hunt during the kids’ programming time in both services. If you would like to donate candy for this event, please bring individually wrapped candy that will fit inside Easter eggs and place in the bins at the Info Desk or in the Kids’ Hallway.
Opportunity for Baptism:
We will be offering an opportunity for baptism on Palm Sunday. If you are interested in getting baptized, please sign up at the Info Desk and pick up a Baptism Testimony form. Please return your testimony form by Sunday, March 21. Celebration of baptism will take place at 10:20 AM, between services. Please plan accordingly. Thank you!
