ANNOUNCEMENTS:

A Note About the Winter Weather:
If our Christmas Eve service needs to be cancelled due to the winter storm, we will make that announcement by 2:00 pm on Dec. 24th. If our Christmas morning service needs to be cancelled, we will make that announcement by 7:30 am on Dec. 25th. You may find this information on NLF Facebook page, WNDU TV station, and on the church website. An NLF text will also be sent to those who have provided their phone number and cell provider. Thank you!

Join Us For Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning Services!
We will have our traditional Christmas Eve service at 6:00 pm on December 24th. There will be a hot chocolate bar and a worshipful family-focused service with candle lighting concluding our service. Please note that on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day we will have one service at 10:30 am. There will be no children’s programming to give a volunteers a break; the nurseries will be open, but unstaffed. Thank you!

This Sunday:
A quick note about our services on December 25th: We are designating a time during the service to give as an act of worship.  We will prepare you for this time during our service.


Update on Soles For Jesus:
The Connect Preteens are happy to report that they met and even surpassed their goal to collect shoes for the Soles for Jesus project! Their goal was 477 pairs of shoes and they collected 493 pairs of shoes along with $1000 to ship the shoes! Thank you so much to all who donated and helped with this project!! The shoes have been picked up and are on their way!

 
Thank You from our Preteens:
The Preteens would like to thank New Life for your generous donations to the pumpkin and mum wagon in the fall. Your generous donations allowed them to adopt 6 families for Christmas! The preteens shopped, wrapped, and prayed for these families! Thank you!

Ladies Winter Bible Study:
This winter, beginning January 16th, there will be a 6-week bible study, Waymaker by Ann Voskamp, on Monday mornings from 10:00 am- Noon. Sign up at the Women’s Desk.

Helping Hands Needed:
We will be taking down the NLF Christmas decorations on Thursday evening, Jan. 5th at 6:00 pm. Please plan to join us and help. More hands make light work…and the fellowship is FUN! Please RSVP to Julie Wiard (260.409.9915) so we can plan. Thanks!

Body Life:
Body Life small groups will resume meeting on Wednesday, February 1st.


Men’s Ministry:

Man Up will resume meeting on Monday, January 9th at 6:30 pm. For more information please contact Tony Bontrager at (260) 336-0744.
Men’s prayer will resume meeting on Thursday, January 12th at 6:00 am.

Offering Envelopes:
The new 2023 offering envelopes are available for pick-up in the foyer. If you do not currently have numbered envelopes and would like a set, please visit the Info Desk. Counseling Services Available:
We are excited to announce that we now have a counselor available on-site at NLF on Wednesday evenings. Shannon Cross is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate who will use our building to provide counseling services by appointment. Spring Break Missions Trip Opportunity:
Do you have plans for Spring Break? Michelle Sharick will be leading a team to Jamaica from April 1-8, 2023. We will be visiting and staying at Caribbean Christian Center of the Deaf. It will be a week of loving on deaf children and supporting the staff. We will also have some opportunities for some work projects. If interested please reach out to Michelle Sharick. If you are under 18 years old you will need a parent to go along.
