This Sunday, September 26th there will be two services at 9:00 and 10:30am.
There will be coffee and light refreshments between the two services.
The service will be live streamed on FaceBook and on the church website nlf-online.church during the 9:00 am service. It will be accessible on both Face Book and the New Life website if you prefer to watch the service at a later time.
Pumpkin and Mum Wagon:
Our Connect PreTeens are selling pumpkins & mums as a fundraiser to support local families at Christmas. This is the last Sunday to visit the preteen Pumpkin and Mum wagon, so don’t miss your opportunity to make a donation and support local families at Christmas!
Parenting in a Digital Age:
Attention parents, grandparents, and those who might want to be parents someday! We have a special event coming up for you October 15-16th: Parenting in a Digital Age. With the access our children have to the internet, screen time, the seemingly endless bombardment of social media, video platforms, and the like, we will be taking a look at how we can effectively navigate and parent our children through these times. Discussing the dangers that we might not be aware of, practical advice and support, and so much more. Our speaker will be Derry Prinkert who has over 20+ years of student ministry experience and youth culture. Dinner will be provided both days at 5:45 and the programming starting at 6pm to 8:30pm. We HIGHLY recommend that you make the time and effort to attend this weekend seminar as it will be valuable to not just parents and parents-to-be, but to grandparents or anyone who works with children and students. Operation Christmas Child:
This Sunday we will begin our Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child project. There are boxes available in the foyer which you may take home and fill for a child to receive at Christmas. There are instructions on to how to fill the box, along with mailing labels at the table. Please include $9.00 shipping for each box. You may also track your box by scanning the QR code on the label. If you have questions about this project, please contact Cathy Frey.
Trunk or Treat Event:
Once again this year we will having a Trunk-Or-Treat event on Wednesday, October 27 (6:30-8pm). We are looking for individuals who would be willing to provide a themed trunk and hand out candy to the children. If interested, please sign up at the Info Desk. Also, if you would like to donate candy for this event, there will be bins at the Info Desk and in the Kid’s Ministry hallway.
