“Screenagers” Movie

On Sept. 19th (6:30pm) at the Topeka Fire Department, parents, students, teachers, and youth workers are invited to see, “Screenagers”, a documentary about the challenges of social media, video games, and internet addiction. This movie, presented by Reason 4 Hope ministries, will be a valuable resource to help kids and adults find balance in this area. Reason 4 Hope will also present “Parent Talk and Technology”, featuring Brenda Yoder at Marion Christian Fellowship on Sunday Sept. 30th from 3:00-5:00pm. This event will help equip parents in navigating today’s digital landscape and further discuss solutions in finding balance.

 

Topeka Food Pantry

NLF is in charge of filling the Topeka Food Pantry for the month of September. You may place non-perishable items you wish to donate in the shopping cart in the foyer. Contact Vern Miller for more info.

 

Women’s Life

Women’s Coffee/Breakfast meets Wednesday mornings at 8:30 am at Country Corral in Shipshewana. Ladies Scrapbooking & Crafts meets at NLF on the second Saturday of each month at 9am.

 

Women’s Bible Studies will begin meeting on Monday, September 17th. “Everyday Godly Living”, based on Titus 2:1, 3-5, will be offered on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm and is especially for mothers with children in the home. “Faithful, Abundant, True” will be offered on Monday mornings from 9:45-11:45am and Monday evenings from 6:30-8pm. This study will feature Beth Moore, Kay Arthur, and Priscilla Shirer speaking on different aspects of the Holy Spirit. Please visit the Women’s Ministry table for more information and to sign up for either of these studies.

 

Men’s Life

Men’s basketball (Hoops & Prayer) meets on Monday evenings at 7 pm at Chuck Christner’s. Contact Pastor Jordan for more info.
