NLF Pumpkin Patch:
Calling all NLF folks! As the weather is starting to change so is the outside decor! Our Connect – Preteens will be having a “pumpkin patch” here at the church for the next couple of Sundays. As you are looking forward to planning and decorating around your homes, please consider taking a look at our pumpkins to fulfill your needs. The Connect Pumpkin Patch has outdoor fall decor available for you to purchase by donation. They are raising funds to be able to “adopt some kids/families” at Christmas. Thank you for considering us for your pumpkin decor!

Preteen Event this Sunday, September 13th:
This Sunday, Connect Preteens are invited to stay after church for lunch and fun! They will be roasting hot dogs over a fire, fishing in the church pond, and playing games outside. There will be a prize for the longest fish caught and the shortest fish caught! Parents may pick their children up at the church at 2:30pm.

Moms in Prayer has begun meeting again for this school year. This group of ladies meets every other Wednesday at 9:00am to pray for their children and local schools. The next meeting will be September 16th. Please contact Carrie Clark for more info.

Organize Your Health Information:
Do You Have A list of Medications? Insurance Numbers? Health Conditions? Emergency Contacts? and Doctors? Tired of writing this information every time you visit a healthcare provider? Carol Miller will be available in the church lobby this Sunday to introduce you to a new and simple way to have all your information in one place for all your healthcare visits. There is no charge for this assistance; just a simple questionnaire to fill out and Carol will do the rest. For more information, please call, text, or e-mail Carol Miller.

Operation Christmas Child:
Beginning this Sunday, Sept. 13th, NLF will have 100 Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes in the foyer. Please consider picking up one or more boxes to fill for children around the world. The fliers explain how and with what to fill these shoe boxes. The final date to return these boxes is Sunday, November 15th. Let’s spread God’s love to children who are needy. If you have questions, contact Cathy Frey.

Women’s Bible Studies Relaunch:
We are happy to announce that our women’s Bible Studies will resume this fall. Bible study will begin on Monday, September 21st. The plan is to restart the Bible studies on Lesson 1 since only two weeks were completed before the pandemic began. If you do not have a book and wish to be part of the Bible study, please contact Mary Bultemeier.
