ANNOUNCEMENTS:
This Sunday we will continue to have two services at 9:00am and 10:30am. There will be nursery & toddler care and children’s programming for all ages during the second service. If you prefer, you may attend the first service and sit together as a family. Please take note that the service will be live streamed only during the 9:00am service. It will be posted on Face Book if you prefer to watch the service at a later time.
NLF TAILGATE EVENT:
On Sunday, October 11th, NLF will be having a tailgate event at 4:30pm with grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, chili, donuts, hot chocolate, and cider. There will be a bonfire for s’mores, a corn hole tournament, frisbee golf, a hayride, and a Family Edition Amazing Race activity! Please see the google forms below to sign up for the Corn Hole Tournament and Family Amazing Race. Sign ups will also available at the Info Desk. Amazing Race teams should have at least 4 members and do not have to be related…just create a team of 4 or more adults and/or children, give your team a name, and sign up! Teams will compete to complete a series of events with the fastest time. There will be activities for all ages, so don’t miss out on this fun opportunity to fellowship as a church family! Bring your lawn chairs and roasting sticks for the campfire. In case or inclement weather, the event will be moved to Sunday, October 18th.

Soles For Jesus:
Soles for Jesus, the shoe drive our Connect Preteens are working on, is up and running to a good start! The box is available in the foyer for you to drop your donations in! We’re collecting new and gently used walking sandals and tennis shoes which will be sent to Africa. Would you consider helping us reach our goal of 300 pair of shoes?
Preschool Fundraiser:
Little Sprouts Preschool is having a fundraiser to sell Ben’s Pretzel kits. There are two kits available: a pretzel kit and a cinnamon roll kit. One kit costs $14 or two kits for $25. If you would like to place an order, please see Missy Eichelberger or Molly Ryall.
Moms-n-More:
Moms-n-More will begin meeting tonight, Thursday, October 1st. This group of moms meets in the NLF Cafe for an informal time of sharing to support and encourage each other. They meet every other Thursday evening from 6-8pm. If you would like more information, please contact Kiersten Bontrager.
Trunk or Treat Event:
On Wednesday, October 28th, we will be having a Trunk or Treat event here at NLF. We are looking for 10-15 people to set up a Trunk or Treat station in their vehicle. If interested, please sign up at the Info Desk or use the google form below. We will also be collecting candy for this event. There are drop off bins in the foyer and in the Kids’ Country hallway for you to place your candy donations. Thank you!
