If you desire to watch the Sunday morning livestream service, it now originates from our NLF Youtube Channel.  This change helps improve what we can offer in our livestream.  You may still access the livestream on our website (nlf-online.church) and our Facebook page. Groceries To-Go Drive Thru for our Community:

New Life will be offering a groceries to-go drive thru event to our community on Monday, February 13th between 4:00-6:00 pm.  Each bag of groceries given will contain all of the groceries needed to make 2 hot meals for a family. This is a great opportunity to serve our community and we need your help! There will be sign-up sheets out in the foyer.  For more information, contact Paige Lambright or Jasmin Miller.

Foster Families Appreciation Dinner:

On Saturday, Jan. 28th, New Life will be hosting an appreciation dinner for foster families in LaGrange County. This is an evening of food and fellowship. It is also an evening of “thanks” to the foster families of our community. We need your help New Life! There are many ways you can plug in and help with this event. There are sign up sheets in the foyer with a list of the needs for the evening. If you have any question, please contact Jasmin Miller or Dawn Christner.


Night To Shine Community Event:
Night To Shine is an unforgettable prom experience for individuals with special needs. This year, Night To Shine will be held on Feb. 10th at 6:00 pm at the Blue Gate Performing Arts Center. New Life has been invited to participate. Many buddies will be needed! A buddy is paired with a guest with special needs; it’s a rewarding evening for all involved. You don’t need any special skills…just be there and have fun! Volunteers are also needed to help serve food. Any questions; please contact Wilma Miller. Abide Women’s Conference:

Join the ladies of New Life as they attend the Extraordinary Women’s (“Abide in Me”) Conference, March 18th, in Michigan City. This will be a weekend of dynamic praise and worship, Bible study, friends, and fun. Stop by the Women’s Info desk for details about registration and accommodations. Round Tables With Jesus:
Everyone is invited to join Round Tables With Jesus, a Bible study that meets on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:15 am in the Meeting Place. Herman Yoder and Mark Sharick are leading this Bible Study on Revelation. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with others and study God’s word together. Life:Start Welcome Lunch:
We will be having a welcome lunch on Sunday, January 29th following the 10:30am service. If you are newer to the New Life church family or would like to know more about the ministries of NLF, we invite you to come to this time of food and fellowship as the staff shares different ways to get involved and connected at New Life. Ladies Winter Bible Study:
It’s not too late to join our ladies winter Bible study (Waymaker by Ann Voskamp) which meets on Monday mornings from 10:00 am-Noon. Books are available at the Women’s Desk. For more information, please contact Joyce Brown.

Body Life:
Body Life small groups will resume meeting on Wednesday, February 15th at 7:00 pm. A meal is served beginning at 6:15 pm. All are invited and encouraged to attend. Child care is provided and there are activities for all ages. Contact Russ Hunsberger for more information or if you would like to be added to a Body Life small group.


Spring Break Missions Trip Opportunity:

Do you have plans for Spring Break? Michelle Sharick will be leading a team to Jamaica from April 1-8, 2023. We will be visiting and staying at Caribbean Christian Center of the Deaf. It will be a week of loving on deaf children and supporting the staff. We will also have some opportunities for some work projects. If interested please reach out to Michelle. If you are under 18 years old you will need a parent to go along.

Counseling Services Available:
We now have a professional counselor available on-site at NLF on Wednesday evenings. Shannon Cross is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate who will use our building to provide counseling services by appointment. If interested please contact Shannon Cross directly at (574.536.5285). Thank you!

A Note About the Winter Weather:
Throughout the winter months, if our services need to be cancelled due to the weather, you will find this information on NLF Facebook page, WNDU TV station, and on the church website. A text will also be sent to those who have provided their mobile phone number and carrier. Thank you!
