Missions Opportunity/Disaster Cleanup:
The NLF missions team is looking into the possibility of forming a trip for adults to do disaster cleanup through Samaritans Purse. We are assuming that spring will create a need and although we do not have dates, we would like to get a list of those interested in going. The duration of the trip would be 4-5 days. The cost is just the travel there and back; no experience needed. Once a list is formed we can get a group pre-approved to serve whenever Samaritan’s Purse makes us aware of a need. Body Life:
Body Life small groups are now meeting on Wednesday evenings 7-8:00 pm. A meal is served at 6:15 pm. Child care is provided and there are activities for all ages. We have added an additional time slot for those who prefer Sunday morning. The Sunday morning Body Life group will meet 9:30-10:15 am, beginning February 19th. It’s not too late to jump in! Preschool Enrollment:
Little Sprouts Preschool will start enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year in March. We are letting our church family know, as we will have limited spots for the next school year. If you have not already told us, that you would like an application, please contact Missy Eichelberger.
Family Game Night:
On Friday, February 24th at 6:30 pm, we will be having a Family Game Night at the church. Bring a favorite game and snack and join us for a fun time of playing various card and board games. For more information, contact Russ Hunsberger. Sign up is available at the Info Desk.
CPC Baby Bottle Drive:
Don’t forget to return your CPC Baby Bottle by Sunday, Feb. 26th. Your loose change will allow Compassion Pregnancy Center to continue caring for mothers and babies, and in so doing, honor the sanctity of life. You may bring your filled baby bottle to the Information Desk. Thank you!
Groceries To-Go Drive Thru for our Community:
Thank you New Life for your prayers, donations, and for serving at Monday’s Groceries-To-Go community outreach event. We blessed over 70 families with bags of food! Please continue to pray for this outreach. Our next Groceries-To-Go event is Monday April 10th.
Abide Women’s Conference:
Join the ladies of New Life as they attend the Extraordinary Women’s (“Abide in Me”) Conference, March 18th, in Michigan City. This will be a weekend of dynamic praise and worship, Bible study, friends, and fun. Stop by the Women’s Info desk for details about registration and accommodations. Round Tables With Jesus:
Everyone is invited to join Round Tables With Jesus, a Bible study that meets on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:15 am. Herman Yoder and Mark Sharick are leading this Bible Study on Revelation. Counseling Services Available:
We now have a professional counselor available on-site at NLF on Wednesday evenings. Shannon Cross is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate who will use our building to provide counseling services by appointment.
