ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Special Outdoor Service THIS SUNDAY July 3rd:
This Sunday, July 3rd, we will have one outdoor service at 9:00 am. Please bring your own lawn chairs and your favorite pie to share. Water bottles and ice cream will be provided. There will be limited seating available in the shade. Following the outdoor service, there will be a time of fellowship as we enjoy pie and ice cream together. Please note that since the service will be outdoors, there will be no children’s programming. In case of inclement weather, the service will be moved indoors. Thank you!
Meals of Hope:
A HUGE thanks to the many who have volunteered and/or donated food items for the Meals of Hope program. You are helping to provide meals for youth within our community! Thank you! There is still an opportunity to help package meals. These meals feed youth within our community during the summer. Meals are packaged on Tuesday mornings, through August 2nd, starting at 7:30 am in LaGrange at The Garage. Packing takes approximately 2 hours and then the meals are delivered by other volunteers. It is a blessing to help package these meals, serving together to help provide food for youth in LaGrange County dealing with food insecurity. Please contact Dawn Christner if interested in volunteering to pack meals.
Ladies Summer Bike Rides:
Throughout the summer our Women’s Ministry will offer bike rides on Monday evenings at 6:30 pm. Each week the ride will start at a different location. All women are invited to participate and bring a friend! Sign up is available at the women’s ministry desk. If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Kay Simmons or Kim Taylor.
Ladies Event: Cory Asbury Concert:
All ladies are invited to attend an evening of praise and worship with Cory Asbury, Sunday July 24th, (8:00 pm) at the Elkhart County Fair. If interested, please visit the Women’s Desk in the foyer or contact Julie Wiard for more information. Tickets are $10.00. There is no gate fee at the Elkhart County Fair for this evening.
Life:Start Welcome Lunch:
We will be having a welcome lunch on Sunday, July 31st following the 10:30am service. If you are newer to the New Life church family or would like to know more about the ministries of NLF, we invite you to come to this time of food and fellowship as the staff shares different ways to get involved and connected at New Life. Outdoor Baptism, Sunday August 14th:
We are planning to have our traditional Outdoor Baptism service on Sunday, August 14th, at 10:30 am. Following the morning service, we will have lunch together by the pond. In case of inclement weather, the service and lunch will be moved indoors.
