ANNOUNCEMENTS:
This Sunday, January 23rd, there will be two services at 9:00 and 10:30am.
There will be coffee and light refreshments between the two services.
The service will be live streamed on FaceBook and on the church website nlf-online.church during the 9:00 am service. It will be accessible on both Face Book and the New Life website if you prefer to watch the service at a later time.
Round Tables with Jesus:
Everyone is invited to join “Round Tables with Jesus”, a Bible study which meets from 9:30-10:15am on Sunday mornings in the Meeting Place. Herman Yoder and Mark Sharick are leading this Bible study on the book of Romans. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with others and study God’s word together. CPC Baby Bottle Drive:
Each year NLF supports the ministry of Compassion Pregnancy Center by participating in the annual baby bottle drive. We have baby bottles available in the foyer for you to take home, fill with change, and return by Sunday, Feb. 27th. Your loose change will allow Compassion Pregnancy Center to continue caring for mothers and babies, and in so doing, honor the sanctity of life. Thank you!
Opportunity for Baptism:
Each year, NLF celebrates baptism outside on the 2nd Sunday in August. However, many might not realize that we also hold baptism during the year as well when needed. If you would like to follow the Lord in baptism and don’t want to wait until August, just let us know. We will work with you to find a Sunday that works best and make it happen.
Life:Start Luncheon:
We will be having a welcome lunch on Sunday, Feb. 6th following the 10:30am service. If you are newer to the New Life church family or would like to know more about the ministries of NLF, we invite you to come to this time of food and fellowship as the staff shares different ways to get involved and connected at New Life. Men’s Prayer:
Beginning on Thursday, Feb. 3rd, Pastor Russ will be leading a time of prayer for men. This group will meet at NLF at 6 am on Thursday mornings (Feb.3-March 24). Please sign up at the Info Desk or contact Pastor Russ for more info.
Ladies Winter Bible Study:
All ladies are invited to join the Women’s Bible study beginning on Monday, February 21st at either 10:00 am or 6:30 pm. This will be a 5-week Bible study entitled, “Breathe: Making Room for Sabbath” by Priscilla Shirer. Weather Cancellations:
Winter is here! As we go throughout the winter months, please note that if NLF’s services are cancelled due to inclement weather there are several ways to find that information. We will send a NLF text alert and the cancellation will be posted on the church website, FaceBook, and on WNDU TV Station (Ch.16).
New Birth:
Congratulations to Adam and Jessyca Castle on the birth of their son, Cordell David, born on January 13th. Cordell weighed 10 pounds and was 20.5 inches long. He is welcomed by big brothers, Khale and Colt! Congratulations to the family!
