ANNOUNCEMENTS:
This Sunday, February 28th, there will be two services at 9:00 am and 10:30 am. Pastor Drew will continue to teach his sermon series, “Lent: the Power of the Gospel”. During both services, we will pray over our preteens who will be attending the Winter Retreat at Prairie Camp on March 5-7. There will also be photos of the 22 preteens that are attending the retreat that you can take home to remind you to pray for our preteens as they learn, grow, and interact at the retreat!
There will be nursery & toddler care and children’s programming for all ages during the second service. If you prefer, you may attend the first service and sit together as a family. The service will be live streamed during the 9:00 am service. It will be posted on Face Book if you prefer to watch the service at a later time.
Tulips for Easter:
We are offering an opportunity for you to purchase a basket of tulips in honor or memory of a loved one this Easter. The cost will be $10 each and we will display them in the sanctuary on Palm and Easter Sundays. The tulips can be ordered by signing up at the Info Desk. Orders are due by March 14th.
Kids’ Country Easter Egg Hunt:
On Sunday, March 28 (Palm Sunday), Kids’ Country will have an Easter Egg Hunt during the kids’ programming time in both services. If you would like to donate candy for this event, please bring individually wrapped candy and place in the bins at the Info Desk or in the Kids’ Hallway.
Opportunity for Baptism:
We will be offering an opportunity for baptism on Palm Sunday. If you are interested in getting baptized, please sign up at the Info Desk and pick up a Baptism Testimony form. Please return your testimony form by Sunday, March 21. Thank you!
“Made to Praise” Children’s Choir:
Beginning on March 7th, we will be offering a 4 week kids choir for children 5 years through 3rd grade. It will be a 60 minute class that takes place during the first service (9:00-10:00am). Sign ups are available at the Info Desk. The children will be singing on Palm Sunday. For more information, or if you would be willing to help with this ministry, please contact Tori Bultemeier.
Don’t forget to bring your CPC baby bottles back this Sunday, Feb. 28th. Your donations will allow Compassion Pregnancy Center to continue caring for mothers and babies, and in so doing, honor the sanctity of life. Thank you!
