ANNOUNCEMENTS:
This Sunday there will be two services at 9:00 and 10:30 am.
There will be coffee and light refreshments between the two services.
Pastor Drew Ryall will bring the morning message.
The service will be live streamed on FaceBook and on the church website nlf-online.church during the 9:00 am service. It will be accessible on both Face Book and the New Life website if you prefer to watch the service at a later time.
Promotion Sunday:
Parents, please take note that this Sunday is Promotion Sunday for all children ages birth through 3rd grade! As you check your child in at the computers, their new class and pick-up location will be printed on their name tag. Pastor Russ will be available in the children’s hallway to answer any questions you may have.
School and Craft Supplies for Genesis School:
If you signed up to bring craft supplies for Renee Helmkamp to take to the Dominican Republic, please bring your items this Sunday, August 21st. There is a box located behind the Info Desk to place your items. Thank you!
Sit With Me Ladies Event:
Plan to join the women of NLF on Thursday evening, August 25th at 7:00 pm for a fun, interactive discussion about what may be holding you back from developing strong relationships with other women. Everyday Godly Living:
If you have children at home (any age), join Helen Leu Wednesday mornings at 9:00 am beginning Wednesday September 14th at NLF (8 weeks) to study “Everyday Godly Living.”
Topics include:
– Everyday Women of Excellence
– Everyday Godly Living with Your Husband
– Women who Teach and Train Their Children Every Day to Follow Jesus
– Women who Live Every Day as Both Mary and Martha

Ladies Fall Bible Studies:
This fall, beginning Sept. 12th there will be two ladies Bible studies offered. “David: Seeking a Heart Like His” (Beth Moore) will meet on Monday mornings (10:00-11:45); And “Take Courage” (Jennifer Rothschild) will meet on Monday evenings (6:30-8:00pm). Both sign ups have been placed at the Women’s Ministry Desk and books are available for $15.
Ladies Wednesday Morning Breakfast:
All ladies are invited to meet for breakfast at the Country Corral (280 North Village Drive, Shipshewana), every Wednesday morning at 8:30 am. Come join this time of informal food and fellowship and get to know other women at New Life Fellowship. If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Sally Hart.
Feed My Starving Children MobilePack at the MEC:
Wednesday, August 24th through Saturday, August 27th, there will be a Feed My Starving Children Mobile Pack set up at the MEC in Shipshewana. Volunteering at a food pack is a great way to serve and connect with others! For more information, visit FMSC website fmsc.org. Body Life:
Beginning Wednesday, September 7th through October 12th we will resume our ministry called Body:Life. We invite everyone to join a round table for a time of sharing and praying as we connect in deeper ways with one another and with Jesus. We will be offering a meal at 6:30 pm for anyone who would like to come and eat dinner before Body Life begins at 7:00 pm. Body Life will end at 8:00 pm. We also will have child care and age appropriate activities for all children, preteens, and students. NLF Tailgate & Chili Cook-Off Event:
Sunday, September 18th will be our annual Tailgate Event. There will be games and activities for all ages, as well as a chili cook-off and corn hole tournament. Pulled pork sandwiches and drinks will be provided. Please bring your own lawn chairs. More details coming soon!
