Ladies Wednesday Morning Breakfast:
All ladies are invited to meet for breakfast at the Country Corral (280 North Village Drive, Shipshewana), every Wednesday morning at 8:30 am. Mission Opportunity: School and Craft Supplies Needed:
Renee Helmkamp, one of the missionaries New Life supports, is asking for much needed school and craft supplies for students at Genesis. Renee serves with Students International in the Dominican Republic at Genesis, a school which provides care for children with special needs. There will be a sign up at the Info Desk with a list of items needed. Let’s come along beside Renee and help provide the students and staff at Genesis with much needed supplies! Freezer Meal Ministry:
On Monday, August 8th, beginning at 4:00 pm, New Life will have a freezer meal prep night! THANK YOU to the many who have signed up to provide donations of ingredients for the freezer meals. We have everything covered! If you are interested in helping prep the meals on the 8th, and have not already signed up, contact Jasmin Miller.
Ladies Bible Studies:
This fall, beginning Sept. 12th there will be two ladies Bible studies offered. “David: Seeking a Heart Like His” (Beth Moore) will meet on Monday mornings (10:00-11:45); And “Take Courage” (Jennifer Rothschild) will meet on Monday evenings (6:30-8:00pm). Both sign ups have been placed at the Women’s Desk and books are available for $15.
“Called To Serve” Response Form:
If you have not yet filled out your “Called To Serve” response form, we encourage you to prayerfully consider if there is an area where you feel God is calling you to serve at New Life for the coming school year. We would like to have all forms turned in this Sunday, August 7th so that contacts can be made and teams can be filled. Thanks!
Outdoor Baptism, Sunday August 14th:
We are planning to have our traditional Outdoor Baptism service on Sunday, August 14th, at 10:30 am. Following the morning service, we will have lunch together by the pond. NLF will provide the meat and drink; please bring a dish to share in this meal together. Last names A-M please bring a dessert; Last names N-Z please bring a salad. In case of inclement weather, the service and lunch will be moved indoors. We are in need of a large tent for this event. If you are able to help with this need, please contact Russ Hunsberger.
