NLF Family Work Day:
PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Due to the unfavorable weather forecast for this weekend, the work day scheduled for Saturday, November 13th has been rescheduled for Saturday Nov. 20. We are hoping and praying for better weather next weekend; rain or shine we will plan to work from 8:00-11:00am on Nov. 20th. All men and women and families are invited to meet at the church and then go into the community to help do fall/winter lawn care and clean up for several families and elderly individuals in the NLF church family. For more information, please contact Steve Christner.

It’s Time to Pray!
We had a wonderful time of prayer on Wednesday night! We will continue to meet for prayer next Wednesday, November 17th, from 6:15-7:15pm in the sanctuary.  Let’s continue to seek God’s leadership and give the Holy Spirit space to guide us in our next steps here at New Life Fellowship.

Celebration Sunday:
In response to our 3 weeks of prayer, on Sunday November 21st we will have one worship service at 10:30am, followed by an all-church lunch to celebrate God’s faithfulness to New Life! Leadership from Nappanee Missionary Church will join us to celebrate God’s answers to prayer in establishing New Life Fellowship Church and our opportunity to be debt free!

Ladies Dinner and a Movie:
All ladies are invited to come join us on Friday evening, December 3rd at 7 pm at Regal Cinema’s Coldwater Crossing Theatre (Fort Wayne) to see The Chosen’s newest project – “The Messengers”, the story of Christmas told through the eyes of Mary and Joseph. This is a great opportunity to kick off your Christmas season by spending an evening with friends celebrating the birth of the savior.  Sign up at the Ladies’ desk in the Foyer. Can’t wait to see you there!

Christmas Caroling:
Everyone is invited to go Christmas Caroling in our community on Sunday December 12th. Meet at the church at 6 pm. There will be coffee and hot chocolate served before leaving. If interested, please sign up at the Info Desk. For more information, please contact Kala Yoder.

College Care Packages
It’s that time of year again. College students are wrapping up their first semester and will soon be preparing for finals. New Life would like to bless our college students with care packages before Christmas. If you would like help with these care packages, please stop by the Info Desk to sign up. Also, if you are the parent of a college student, please visit the Info Desk and provide your student’s name and information. Packages will need to be sent by Nov. 29th. Thanks!

Nursing Home Outreach:
During the past year, New Life has provided gifts of encouragement to the residents and staff of area nursing homes. We want each resident and staff member to know that they are thought of and prayed for and loved. Recently, we delivered fall themed sun-catchers for each of the residents, along with a basket of fruit for the staff.  A HUGE THANK YOU to our Preteens and Youth who helped paint them! We were able to deliver a total of 285! Thank you for all who helped with this project.  It is such a blessing to be able to provide residents and staff with a gift of encouragement.

Adopt-a-Family Christmas Project:
The New Life Missions team is partnering with Westview Schools again this year to sponsor families in need at Christmas time. If you, your family, your small group, or any group of friends are interested in sponsoring a family this year, please text Michelle Sharick at 260-463-1528.

Operation Christmas Child:
Don’t forget to bring your Operation Christmas Child boxes back to the church this Sunday November 14th. Please include $9.00 shipping in an envelope inside your box (cash or check made out to Samaritan’s Purse). You may also track your box by scanning the QR code on the label. If you have questions about this project, please contact Cathy Frey.

Volunteer Appreciation Open House:
On Wednesday, November 17th, from 3:30-6:30pm, the NLF staff will be hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Open House in the New Life Cafe. If you have volunteered in any capacity at New Life during this past year, we invite you to come and enjoy a time of food and fellowship in your honor! NLF could not function without our many volunteers! Please come so we can honor you and express our appreciation for your service!
